For the Greater City of Bendigo thirty one (31) recommendations were identified with respect to the planning permit processes. A further fifteen (15) recommendations were identified with respect to improving the planning scheme amendment processes.
- All recommendations for both Statutory and Strategic Planning departments have now been implemented.
The audit also included an examination of five (5) planning permit applications (residential, heritage, industrial) to determine whether or not value adding to the application was achieved through the permit assessment process. |
